Cookie Policy
Effective July 2, 2026
This Cookie Policy explains how Climb Analytics uses cookies and similar technologies, the categories involved, and the choices you have. It supplements our Privacy Policy.
1. What cookies and similar technologies are
Cookies are small text files placed on your device by a website. Similar technologies include local storage, pixels, and software development kits. They let a site remember your actions and preferences, keep you signed in, and operate securely. Cookies may be “session” (deleted when you close your browser) or “persistent” (kept until they expire or you delete them), and “first-party” (set by us) or “third-party” (set by a provider we use).
2. How we use them
Our marketing website(climb-analytics.com) uses cookies and similar technologies that are strictly necessary to deliver and secure the site, and — only if you agree through our cookie banner — privacy-friendly, anonymous analytics that help us understand how the site is used. It does not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies, and does not sell or share information for targeted advertising. You can change your choice at any time using Cookie preferences in the footer.
Our application (app.climb-analytics.com) uses cookies that are necessary to sign you in, keep your session secure, and remember essential preferences. Without these, the application cannot function.
3. Categories of cookies
We keep strictly necessary cookies on at all times, and we load analytics only if you accept them. We ask for your consent before loading any non-essential category, and you can change your choice at any time.
- Strictly necessary (always on).Required to operate the Service and provide features you request — for example, authentication, session management, security, and load balancing. These cannot be switched off through our interfaces.
- Analytics (only with your consent). Help us understand how the site is used so we can improve it. We use a privacy-friendly, anonymous analytics tool, do not use it for advertising or cross-context behavioral advertising, and load it only after you choose “Accept all.” Choosing “Reject all” loads nothing beyond the strictly necessary cookies.
We do not use cookies to sell your personal information or to build advertising profiles across other websites.
4. Third-party cookies
Some cookies are set by the providers we rely on to run the Service — for example our authentication provider (for sign-in and session security) and our hosting and content-delivery providers (for security and performance). These providers act on our behalf under data-protection terms. Their handling of information is also governed by their own policies.
5. Your choices
You control optional cookies right on our site: choose Accept all or Reject all when our cookie banner appears, and change your mind at any time through Cookie preferences in the footer. Rejecting keeps only the strictly necessary cookies.
In addition, most browsers let you view, manage, block, and delete cookies through their settings, and to be notified when a cookie is set. You can also use private/incognito browsing. Because strictly necessary cookies are required to operate the application, blocking them may prevent you from signing in or using core features. Managing cookies is device- and browser-specific, so you may need to repeat your choices on each browser you use.
6. Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control
Some browsers offer a “Do Not Track” signal; there is no common industry standard for how to respond, and our marketing site does not track you across other sites regardless. Because we do not “sell” or “share” personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising, there is nothing today for a Global Privacy Control (GPC)signal to opt you out of. If we ever introduce a feature that involves a “sale” or “sharing” as defined by law, we will treat a recognized GPC signal as a valid opt-out request where the law requires.
7. Changes to this policy
We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time. We will change the effective date above and, where appropriate, provide additional notice.
